The Exchange Club of Richmond Hill was founded on August 25, 1984. On Tuesday evening, August 25, 2009, the club celebrated it’s 25th Anniversary with a banquet at the Wetlands Education Center at J F Gregory Park. Over 50 current and former members and spouses were present to help commemorate the milestone. Over the many years, the Exchange Club has earned a reputation for a strong commitment to community service, and we look forward to continuing that effort in the future. Among the many community service programs we operate are our RHHS Student of the Month and Student of the Year programs; our Annual Children’s Fishing Derby; our Annual Public Safety Officers of the Year Awards; the installation of Freedom Shrines at all the public schools in South Bryan County; our One Nation Under God Program; our various programs for recognizing our veterans and the service of our military neighbors in the 3rd ID at Fort Stewart and HAAF; support of the local chapter of The American Cancer Society; financial support of the Richmond Hill Recreation Association, and our local YMCA Chapter; support of prevention of child abuse programs, and many other programs.

While Richmond Hill and South Bryan County has undergone tremendous growth and change over the past 25 years, the opportunities and need for community service has seen similar growth. The Exchange Club of Richmond Hill is proud to have been able to help with that process, and will continue it’s commitment to the community in the future.
